BLS Renewal (Traditional)
A fast-paced, fully in-person course designed for experienced healthcare providers who regularly use their resuscitation skills.
This course assumes comprehensive knowledge and skill proficiency in Heart & Stroke BLS concepts. You must hold a current valid Heart & Stroke BLS certificate.

Why Choose The Right Beat?
Our edge comes from real frontline experience: 20 years as a Registered Nurse (including 10 years in the Emergency Department and 5 years as a paramedic) and 11 years teaching BLS. I've worked in high-volume ERs in Canada and spent 5 years in a Canadian-accredited hospital in Dubai, where I also became a BLS instructor. This global perspective brings practical insights from actual emergencies—not just theory. We keep classes small for personalized feedback and maximum hands-on time. Our focus is building true competence and confidence, so you leave ready to act when seconds count.
About Your Instructor:
Ed (Vahid) Madadkhah, RN, RN Prescriber
With over 20 years as a Registered Nurse and paramedic, I have dedicated my career to emergency care and preparedness.
I began teaching BLS 21 years ago and have trained hundreds of professionals and community members. My 10 years in high-volume Emergency Departments sharpened my ability to respond under pressure, while five years working in a Canadian-accredited hospital in Dubai expanded my approach to diverse teams and real-world scenarios.
I am an authorized RN Prescriber registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. I completed the CNO-approved RN Prescribing education program delivered by the University of Windsor (Ontario University Consortium). This expanded scope allows me to assess, diagnose, and prescribe selected medications for non-complex conditions, bringing an even broader clinical perspective to every class I teach.
I am currently completing the Nurse Educator course with the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) to further strengthen my teaching practice.
I founded The Right Beat out of a deep love for teaching and a strong commitment to emergency preparedness—empowering others with the life-saving skills I have relied on in real crises. My goal is simple: make every class engaging, practical, and impactful.
