​Ed (Vahid) Madadkhah, RN, RN Prescriber is authorized by the College of Nurses of Ontario to assess, diagnose, and prescribe selected medications for non-complex conditions within the RN prescribing scope.

What I Can Prescribe?

As an authorized RN Prescriber registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario, I am able to assess clients, communicate a diagnosis I have made, and prescribe specific medications for certain non-complex conditions. This includes medications for the following purposes:

• Immunization

• Contraception

• Travel health

• Topical wound care

• Smoking cessation

• Anesthetics

• Allergic reaction

• Over-the-counter medication

I can also dispense or administer (by injection or inhalation) the medications I prescribe, within the limits set by the Nursing Act and CNO standards.

Collaborative Care
For specialized wound, ostomy, and continence needs, I work closely with my wife, Habibeh Aslani, RN, NSWOC, WOCC, RN Prescriber.
