  • Who is The Right Beat?
    The Right Beat is a CPR and BLS training provider based in Barrie, Ontario, dedicated to equipping individuals with essential life-saving skills. We are affiliated with Heart and Stroke Canada, which ensures our training meets the highest standards. Led by an experienced instructor with nearly two decades in the medical field, we offer flexible, on-site training tailored to the needs of businesses, schools, and individuals. Our mission is to empower our community through high-quality training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), ensuring that participants are well-prepared to respond effectively in emergencies.
  • Will there be hands-on practice?
    Yes, all of our courses include hands-on practice with mannequins and AED devices to ensure you feel confident performing life-saving skills.
  • Do you offer private or corporate group training?
    Yes, we provide tailored training sessions for businesses, schools, and groups. We can customize the course to fit the needs of your organization and provide on-site training at your location.
  • What courses are being offered at The Right Beat?
    Currently we offer following courses: BLS Provider (CPR) and Renewal CPR for HCP HeartSaver CPR AED – Level A (Adult) HeartSaver CPR AED – Level C (Adult, Child & Infant)
  • Do you offer online or blended classes?
    At this time, we only offer in-person classes. However, we are actively working on launching blended courses, where a portion of the class can be completed online, followed by a shorter in-person session to complete the practical component after finishing the online part. Stay tuned for updates!
  • Can I take the course at my location?
    Yes, we offer mobile services and can deliver the class at your location if it’s more convenient for you or your group. Just let us know during registration.
  • Is certification included in the course?
    Yes, upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certification that is valid for up to one year (depending on the course). Your certification will be emailed to you or available for download through Heart and Stroke Canada website.
  • Is CPR/BLS certification a requirement for certain jobs?
    Yes, certain professions in Ontario require CPR/BLS certification, including teachers, lifeguards, daycare staff, healthcare workers (such as nurses, PSWs, and physicians), and some factory workers. Please check with your employer to confirm certification requirements.
  • Do you offer flexible scheduling?
    Yes, we offer flexible scheduling, including after-hour classes as well as weekend and holiday sessions. If you would like to book a class outside of regular hours, please contact us directly to arrange a time that works best for you.
  • What happens if I can’t attend a scheduled class?
    If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, the policy for no-shows will be handled at our discretion based on the specific situation. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling or other options.
  • What happens if I need to reschedule my class?
    We understand that schedules change. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your class at no additional cost.

  • What is The Right Beat Cancellation Policy?
    Registration and Payment Confirmation: After registering for your class on the Heart and Stroke website, you must send payment via e-transfer to ed.mddkhh@gmail.com to confirm your spot. Your registration is not finalized until payment is received. Cancellations 24 Hours or More Before Class: If you notify us of a cancellation at least 24 hours before the class, you will receive a credit to use toward another class.This credit will be valid for up to 1 year from the original class date. ​ Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours Before Class: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, at the discretion of The Right Beat. No-Shows: If you do not show up for the class without prior notice, no credit or refund will be issued. ​​ Class Timing Changes or Cancellations The Right Beat reserves the right to change class timings or cancel a class if the minimum number of participants is not met or due to unexpected reasons or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified promptly and offered a choice of a credit for a future class or a full refund.
